With the recent death of Frank Bank (Lumpy Rutherford), I fondly remember the Beav. I watched reruns of this 1957-1963 show every morning before school for years. It taught me many life lessons. Here's a hilarious episode where Ward and June feel clueless when forced to deal with Wally's new hairdo. Parents always know best.

In the early 1920s, my grandfather (born 1897) and his best friend moved from Massachusetts to Detroit to work in the car factories for a few years. He then became a mechanic. Perhaps he helped assemble a car similar to this one? Right on Frank.
