from a 1965 Top of the Pops featuring Herman's Hermits. Love watching the kids get pushed out of the way by the moving riser he's standing on... especially the girl looking all suave at 1:19. Waaaaaaaaaah!

Check out this hilarious stage design and how the TV steps push out and the bleachers come forward. This is from a 1958-59 Saturday Night Beech-nut Show. It was sponsored by Beech-nut gum and obviously gave out free samples. The "IFIC" on the buttons is short for the Beech-nut slogan, which was "Beech-nut FLAVOR-IFIC gum." Notice the kid winking at 1:17.

Here are the Everly Brothers on the Saturday Night Beech-nut Show from 1960. I love how they stroll in front of the bleachers singing to the kids. They were incredible.
